Important announcement from Jim Nelles, Board Chair of Kensington Health

After 6 years of distinguished service, John Yip will be stepping down as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kensington Health effective April 1, 2022.

The chicks of Kensington

In an effort to alleviate isolation and loneliness for those living at The Gardens, the Life Enhancement team hatched a clever idea: a new program called the Kensington Coop, a six-week program in which residents, along with staff, work together to hatch, play with, and grow baby chicks.

A holiday match: honouring a kind and loving mother and grandmother

The Healing Cycle for Hospice Palliative Care

Worried about your colonoscopy?

A patient at the Screening Clinic recently sat down with one of our Kensington volunteers, Keiran, to discuss their experience at the clinic while sharing their advice to those who may be worried about their procedure.

Thank you for hiking

Because of our 2021 Kensington Hike participants, donors, sponsors, staff and volunteers, we raised over $100,000 for the 11th Annual Kensington Hike!

Protecting the community that we serve

This past February, the Mid-West Ontario Health Team (MWT-OHT) organized a COVID-19 community vaccine clinic at the West End YMCA for vulnerable and at-risk populations in downtown Toronto’s west-end.
