This year’s Kensington Hike was one for the books!  

After two years of virtual Hiking, our community came together for a wonderful in-person event, which was filled with remembrance and community celebration. 

We walked together, commemorated loved ones, enjoyed a BBQ and live music, and toured the under-construction Kensington Hospice expansion space. We couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who joined us, shared these special moments, and helped raise awareness and funds for our Hospice! 

Thanks to you all, we raised $82,000! 

These funds are invaluable because government funding covers only 60% of Kensington Hospice operational costs – the rest comes from philanthropy. This means our Hike directly supports Hospice operations, sustainability, and the upcoming expansion from 10 beds to 19. 

Your commitment makes this event impactful, and the generous contributions help increase access to meaningful end-of-life care. This means so much to so many people in need. Our entire community is incredibly appreciative!
