On behalf of the Kensington Health Board of Directors, I am writing to share an important update with you. You may recall on December 21, 2020, I wrote to announce the departure of our President and CEO, John Yip, to the St. Joseph’s Health System.

Over the course of the last couple of weeks, there have been unforeseen changes at St. Joseph’s Health System that has transformed the nature of the role John was set to undertake.

As a result of these changes, John has decided to withdraw from his future employment with St. Joseph’s.

We are delighted to report that the Kensington Health Board of Directors has unanimously re-appointed John as President and CEO of Kensington Health effective January 20, 2021.

The Board is confident that John will continue his leadership of Kensington Health, with vision, inspiration and integrity. He will work with all of you to keep you and the people Kensington serves safe and healthy during the pandemic, while continuing to advance Kensington’s strategic priorities.
