We are thrilled to announce Justine Humphries’ promotion to Vice President, Strategy & Partnerships, effective August 1, 2023.
The VP of Strategy & Partnerships is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives and fostering partnerships that align with our mission and vision. Justine will play a critical role in driving growth and ensuring the long-term success of the organization. She is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to enhance our organization's impact and reach while monitoring and measuring that impact. Justine will collaborate with our leadership team to establish partnership projects and build system capacity by envisioning, developing, and maintaining key relationships and partnerships that will better connect services across the system both within and outside Kensington Health.
Additionally, Justine will provide leadership for Kensington Health’s planning, partnerships and OHT engagements, and act as Secretariat Lead of the Mid-West Toronto Ontario Health Team (OHT). In this capacity she will be accountable to the governance body of the OHT and hold overall responsibility for the operations and administration of the OHT.
Throughout her career, Justine has held a number of planning, implementation, operations and leadership roles both at a health system level and organization level. Justine joined Kensington in 2014 and has since been instrumental in leading the integration and implementation of key program areas including the Kensington Vision and Research Centre, the Eye Bank, and Kensington Diagnostic Imaging Centre. In her time with us she has established and grown an incredible corporate services team that supports all of the program areas across Kensington in achieving their strategic and operational objectives. Most recently, Justine and her team supported the hospice team’s establishment of the Hospice Expansion Project, helping to oversee its planning and construction, a critical strategic opportunity for our organization. She also led the implementation of the Mid-West Toronto Ontario Health Team Secretariat from conception to the fully operational 50-partner collaborative that it is today.
Justine holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from McMaster University and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
Congratulations, Justine!
