Terry Bramham is thankful to the Kensington Eye Institute for getting his eyesight back.
Terry Bramham is an athlete in every sense of the word. He has skied competitively with the Toronto Ski Club through his entire adult life, and since retirement, spends every afternoon riding his horse at the Toronto Polo Club.
Even though he doesn’t look it, Terry is 83- years-young. Last year he experienced a sudden and unexpected decline in his eyesight. “All of a sudden I could barely see out of my left eye. It was all cloudy, which basically meant I had to keep my right eye open at all times,” said Terry. This meant all activities had to be put on hold including riding, driving and skiing.
Terry was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes and was scheduled for surgery at the Kensington Eye Institute. He was incredibly nervous about the surgery, but knew it was necessary to get his life back on track. His left eye was done in November 2016, and his right eye was done in March, after ski season.
“When I could see again I felt such relief. Now, I am grateful for my clear vision every day,” said Terry. “The staff and surgeons at Kensington were so fantastic. I am indebted to them for getting my vision back.”
