Taking Steps Together in Community Care: CareRx Proudly Supports the Kensington Hike

"By supporting the Kensington Hike, you become part of the solution, ensuring individuals receive the compassionate care, support and dignity they deserve at end-of-life. The Kensington Hike raises awareness of the importance of accessible and equitable access to the Hospice and Palliative Care Program at Kensington Health,” says Kim Donaldson, Vice President, Business Development, CareRx.

For Kensington Health and CareRx, fostering a strong sense of community and connection is a central focus. As longstanding partners, Kensington Health is proud to introduce CareRx as a platinum sponsor for this year’s Kensington Hike. “Every step makes a difference towards ensuring we can create the best possible end-of-life experience for those we serve, so having the support of CareRx and many others means the world to us,” says Paola Philip, Director of Development, Kensington Health Foundation.

CareRx, a leading provider of pharmacy services to seniors living communities, is dedicated to shaping the future of senior care. Guided by its C.A.R.E. values – Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness and Excellence – CareRx focuses on ensuring individuals with unique or complex medication needs receive compassionate, expert care.

Now in its 15th year, The Kensington Hike brings everyone together to raise critical funds for hospice and palliative care and supports individuals and their loved ones navigating end-of-life with compassion and comfort. Whether walking, volunteering or donating, the Kensington Hike is about standing side by side and working together to make a lasting impact.

“Supporting the Kensington Hike is an opportunity to be involved in a compassionate meaningful cause as we support Kensington Health with continuation of essential services,” says Donaldson. “We are proud to be part of this effort and look forward to walking alongside our community to make a difference.”

The 15th Annual Kensington Hike takes place on Sunday, May 4 – we want to see you there! Register here: kensingtonhealth.org/hike.
