Kensington Health is a Smoke-Free Space
Kensington Health is a smoke-free campus. In accordance with Ontario Public Health’s smoke-free guidelines and the Smoke-Free Ontario Act., smoking and vaping are not permitted in or around any of our buildings, patios, or outdoor areas.

Smoking or vaping within 9 metres (30 feet) of a health care facility entrance or exit is strictly prohibited.

If you smoke, please ensure you are following both the policy and the bylaw: 

• If you are 9 meters away from the door but still on Kensington premises, you will need to move off-site 
• If you are off the Kensington premises but still within 9 metres of an entrance, you must move farther away 
• Fully extinguish your cigarette before throwing them away in the designated garbage bin 

If someone is found smoking within the 9-metre range, they will be asked to move to a compliant area.
