Kensington Health is pleased to announce John Yip as its new President and CEO. John joined Kensington Health as President on Dec. 7, 2015, and worked alongside Founding CEO Brian McFarlane for one year to successfully transition into the role.
“John has a true passion for health care, innovation and strategy,” said Brian McFarlane. “I am pleased to pass the baton to John, and feel confident in his ability to successfully lead and transform Kensington Health.”
Over his past year as President, John played an instrumental role in operations, strategic planning, and expansion. In December 2016, John led Kensington Health’s acquisition of a community based Diagnostic Imaging Clinic located at 340 College Street, now named the Kensington Diagnostic Imaging Clinic.
Prior to joining Kensington Health, John was the Vice President of Corporate Services at Health Quality Ontario. He was also the Founder and Managing Director of Yip Management Services Inc., a health care consulting firm.
Throughout his career John has specialized in developing innovative approaches to health care delivery. He is driven and passionate about increasing access to health care services within the community, and is an ideal leader to achieve the overall vision of Kensington Health: Providing solutions to meet unmet health care needs in the community.
