Longtime technicians Bernie Chung and Janice Keane have been with the clinic since 1990 and 2000 respectively. Bernie and Janice are specialists in advanced imaging, ranging anywhere from bone mineral density scans, which assess bone strength and diagnose conditions, like osteoporosis, to musculoskeletal ultrasounds, which closely examine muscles to detect tears, sprains, and more, to liver elastography, which better understands liver health.

For Bernie, it’s all about providing care that is compassionate and curious in nature. “I still get a kick out of doing ultrasounds,” he says. “There’s always something new to discover, something that I haven’t seen before.” This enthusiasm for learning translates into a higher standard of care for patients from him, ensuring they receive thorough and thoughtful assessments. It’s no wonder patients continue to ask for Bernie by name!
