Following an extensive search process, we are very pleased to announce that Terry Caputo has accepted the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and will join Kensington Health effective August 30, 2021.

Terry joins us from the Ontario Medical Association, where he is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Terry was responsible for directing and reporting the financial affairs of the Association, subsidiaries, and affiliates. Prior to joining the OMA, Terry was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sinai Health System Foundation, where his responsibilities included developing and implementing financial strategies to generate revenue to meet the funding requirements of the Sinai Health System. Prior to joining Sinai Health System, Terry held leadership roles at Lakeridge Health, Bridgepoint Health, and Durham College/Ontario Tech.  

Terry is currently on the Board of Directors, and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Oshawa Power & Utilities Corporation and on the Board of Trustees of the Grandview Children’s Centre.  His extensive past board leadership experience includes chairing the Clarington Board of Trade, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (Durham Chapter), Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise, and Durham Family Court Clinic.

Terry is an accomplished business executive with 20+ years of progressive leadership experience across not-for-profit and public sector organizations in Ontario. He brings a diverse range of experience, including strategy, accounting, finance, debt issuance, infrastructure, information management, human resource matters, government relations, and governance. 

Terry is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Director (C.Dir). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Business Administration) from the University of Windsor, a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies from Western University.
