Adil has an extensive background in nursing, public health, international development, and health system strategy, both in Canada and internationally. Prior to joining Kensington Health, Adil served as Ontario Health’s Senior Vice President, Health System Performance and Support, where he oversaw provincial strategies, funding, accountability agreements, standards, and various other initiatives. He has also served as the founding CEO of Royale Home Health, of Royale Hayat Hospital in Kuwait, and as Middle East Executive Regional Director and Operational Lead for University Health Network (UHN), where he led an international cancer centre transformation in the region. Adil is a Registered Nurse and holds a BSc in Nursing from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa.
With a vision to improve health and wellness outcomes of Canadians and 20 years in multiple sectors across the not-for-profit spectrum, Corinne has extensive leadership experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, advocacy, and public policy. She leads the Foundation by developing a strategy to support Kensington’s programs and services, building brand and engaging community to expand our network of supporters.
Terry is the Vice President, Performance, Accountability and Chief Financial Officer at Kensington Health. He is an accomplished leader with a track record of building strong teams that drive innovation and transformational change. Prior to joining Kensington, Mr. Caputo served as Chief Financial Officer at the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), where he led the Finance, Insurance, Member Services and Foundation groups. Prior to the OMA, he spent several years leading the finance departments of not-for-profit and public sector entities, such as Ontario Tech University, Bridgepoint Health, Lakeridge Health, and the Sinai Foundation. Terry is a CPA, CA and holds a Chartered Directors (C.Dir.) designation. He also serves on the Boards of the Oshawa Power Utilities Corporation and Grandview Children's Centre.
Justine is a passionate strategic planning professional with aspirations to leave a positive lasting impact on our healthcare system. She helps shape the future of Kensington by developing and implementing exciting new strategies to help people access the very best healthcare in their community.
Hector has over 15 years of experience in information technology roles across different industries, and has spent nine years at Kensington Health, leading technology implementation by developing strategic plans for sustainability and operations. At Kensington, Hector plans, develops, and implements cutting edge information technology solutions, while ensuring the highest level of efficiency in a client-centred environment.
Nadine has been working in hospice palliative care for the past 14 years and is currently pursuing her PhD in palliative care. At Kensington, Nadine provides leadership support to the long-term care home, the hospice, and our community support program. She strives to ensure that our residents, clients and members have exceptional quality of life and that their caregivers are supported with meaningful care. She is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to equitable high-level palliative care.
As Kensington Health’s Senior Director, Facilities Management, Paula Ashley is passionate about making every day a better day for Kensington Gardens residents through a well-maintained home with great food. She has 20+ years of experience in the healthcare sector, ranging from acute care to children’s rehabilitation to long-term care. Most recently, she was employed with York University, where she oversaw operations for 14 undergraduate and graduate residence buildings. She completed a Facilities Management Certificate at Toronto Metropolitan University and a Food and Nutrition Management Certificate from the Canadian Healthcare Association. She is a current member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, where she received the designation of Nutrition Manager.
Leanne Mitcheson has over 35 years of experience in the public sector, working with organizations such as Sinai Health System, Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Aid Society, and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Leanne began her time with Kensington Health in 2018 as the Manager, Human Resources, and has since transitioned into her current role as Senior Director, HR. Leanne leads Kensington’s HR team and is focused on interpreting and applying legislation, providing support and counsel to departmental leadership, and managing special projects.
Sagal Ali brings more than 14 years of communications experience, having led teams at organizations like SEIU Healthcare, Hypertension Canada and CorHealth Ontario. She also has extensive equity, anti-racism and anti-oppression experience, having advocated for marginalized communities with all three levels of government. Since joining Kensington in 2019, Sagal has acted as Manager of Communications and, more recently, as Manager of Health Equity and Community Relations overseeing Kensington’s health equity portfolio and leading the equity file for the Mid-West Toronto Ontario Health Team. She took on the role of Director of Communications, Equity, and Experience in 2022.
Mano has more than 12 years of experience coordinating and assisting in research projects. His role at Kensington Health is to expand the quality and quantity of the research programs across all the services.
Christine has a Master’s degree in Experimental Pathology and 19 years of experience in tissue donation and transplantation. At the Eye Bank, she provides overall direction for the program with a focus on providing high quality and safe tissue for transplant, research and education.
Nicoletta has over 30 years of experience in health care, and has been part of the Kensington Gardens family for the last 17 years. At Kensington, she provides management and leadership to the nursing department, promotes excellence in resident centered care and ensures a safe, comfortable, home-like environment for Kensington's residents.
As the Manger of Kensington Eye Institute, Thuong supports Kensington's organizational goals by providing patients with high-quality healthcare services. She has over 17 years of experience in healthcare and 13 years of experience in Clinical Nursing as an Operation Registered Nurse at the Kensington Eye Institute.
